Wilbarston 2007

The Ecurie Royal Oaks running of the Adrian Barker Memorial Stages at Wilbarson airfield in October was greeted by great weather and a 66 car strong entry. Three cars were out, Andrew Bailey and Adrian Hughes, Pierre Newton and Dan Simcock and Darren Kelter and Dan Knight.

After a steady start Andrew Bailey and Adrian Hughes climbed up to fith overall before a gearbox problem forced them out after stage 6. Darren Kelter and Dan Knight had problems early on with a shattered rotor arm but managed to continue at the back of the field once repairs were carried out.

|
Pierre Newton and Dan Simcock Peugeot suffered catastrophic engine failure on stage 2 as the engine decided to throw a con rod out of the block.
