Tour of Mull 2008 |

Dave Miller co-driven by Andy Bailey and Dave Hopwood with Paul Grattidge tackled the 2008 Tour of Mull.
First stage of this year’s event Glen Aros, was new to the Escort crew and this combined with a poor tyre choice led to slow times and a slight off on the first loop.
Dave and Andy had a clean run and where lying just outside the top 10.

After changing the front tyres on the Escort Dave Hopwood set about regaining some of the lost time from the previous three stages and ended the night inside the top 20.

A clean run from Dave and Andy kept them hovering around the top ten.

|
The daylight stages of Saturday where to end the 2008 challenge for Dave and Paul, on the first running of Calgary Bay stage some loose gravel on the road caught the pair out and the Escort rolled. Thanks to David Johnston for the photos.

Another good run from Dave and Andy saw them climb in to the top ten and eventually finished in 8th overall.
